IMO it's far less healthy to try to punish ourselves for things we enjoy in a fantasy context than it is to accept that it's something you like as a fantasy and leave it at that. I mean... being real the "problematic" things people enjoy in their headspace are usually far, far removed from the real life version of that same thing. Fantasy rape isn't reality rape... fantasy guro isn't remotely similar to someone being injured or tortured in reality... etc.

It's not really a big deal unless someone starts to conflate fantasy and reality. It's similar to the argument about video game violence inspiring real life violence: unless someone is already too disturbed to be able to tell the difference, they're not really linked.

You see what I'm saying?
