We've fot a bit of snow. I'm not looking forward to biking from the station to work on monday.

This is going to sound stupid, but I didn't know you could bike in the snow? Learn something new every day, I guess. :O

Absolutely. As long as the bike lanes are somewhat maintained. I don't have a drivers licence and the buses don't run when I need them to.
I used to bike all year around as commute to a previous job and that was a country road.

My brother commutes by bike and has a separate winter bike that's heavier and has big tires with nubs on them for traction.
