34 - Oh, Vampire Knight. The only reason I even forgive it, read it, or even consider cosplaying from it is because oh my god it's so damn PRETTY :'D The storyline is shit, the characters are pretty shit, and it's too unbearably shoujo. Oh well. I just love Matsuri Hino's artwork

48 - Sometimes.. i know what you mean. :( Just take a break and try not to take things too seriously? *sigh*

49 - Eh, I don't really talk to anyone about Avatar either, but I comment on the comm from time to time and never had any problems. Shipping isn't everything in a fandom. I just tend to ignore posts about pairings. ._. You can usually tell, too, when people are going to go batshit about pairings... and if they like you any less for not shiping Zutara or Kataang, they're not worth having anyway. Just avoid saying anything about either of them and they won't bother you. ._.

55 - I avoid saying that I like Sasuke for the same reasons... but there are probably a lot of people who do like him and say nothing because of the way the "omg" sasuke fangirls are so vocal ._.''

I know there are people who like him, but for his "hotness?" (can't see it) and call him emo, which he's not. <- that's the stereotype you get from the Sasuke-fangirls who like him because he's cool and quiet etc.
But be an intelligent person AND like him? What? CAN'T BE TRUE. (I'm considering even changing my cosplay plans, tch..)

Well, I like him for a lot of reasons, but I can't deny he's one of the more typical bishounen-looking guys in the main cast =w=\\ When I got into Naruto, I hadn't been into shounen anime/manga or a while, and it struck me that before watching the series, I'd thought Sasuke was the only character I was inclined to like the artwork of. *shrugs*

And seriously? the whole emo thing I can understand, but he was just acting the way any 12 year old boy would act in the situation he was in. I don't consider the "cool and quiet" a part of his "emo" side, it's his attitude just before leaving Konoha, the way he was torn up by his desire to make friends/settle down, and his identity as an avenger -- it caused him to seclude himself even more, become abrasive, and blame others for things. All of which are fairly "emo" stereotypes. The difference is that he actually had reasons for doing these things, and they were realistic ones. *shrugs*

I think he's an interesting character with his own set of insecurities and complexities, and he's not really all he seems. I think i liked him a lot before the time skip, actually, and I like him now only because I want to know his current motives and his past...

Even this much simple discussion is generally eclipsed by "OMGLZJ HOT EMO BOY OMG SAKURAXSASKUAY FOREVERZZZZ" :(

Regarding your cosplay plans... which version are you doing? =O I really think there shouldn't be anything stopping you from cosplaying who you want to cosplay. Just be prepared to deal with the type of attention that you're going to get, which may or may not be very good depending on what version you're doing, and how well you pull it off. Depending on where you are in the world, the cosplay scene is very different. Where I am... I don't think it's that bad to cos as Sasuke. There'd be a lot of other sasuke cosplayers there, and most people would be friendly to you no matter who you are, as long as you can carry an intelligent conversation and don't act like Naruto on drugs.

Tbh, if they're judging you based on what character you're playing, there's really no point talking to them or becoming friends with them.
