17. Now, maybe I'm the wrong person to say this, since I'm not in Harry Potter fandom proper (although I am in places Snape fans are not unlikely to be) but I've seen more people saying Snape fans suck than I've seen actual sucky Snape fans! Yes, he has his bad fans, but SO DOES EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE UNIVERSE. I guarantee you, no matter what the fandom, no matter what the character, you could find a bad fan of it, and it's not caused by one particular object of fandom, it's caused by the fact that the human race has many many idiots. There are tons of perfectly normal fans as well as the stupid ones, though, and Snape is no exception. Not saying you need to go out and support them or anything, just saying that it's kind of silly to hate one particular bunch of fans because it contains stupid people, when they all do.
