People who lament new words being included into dictionaries, especially the ones which are descriptive and not prescriptive, as the downfall of the English language make me want to bash them repeatedly with said dictionaries.

English, and language in general, is fine! It's not your boyfriend! It will be forever changing and forever existing well after you're in the grave, clutching "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves" in your skeletal grip!
