But they both state the truth, or at least state their opinions very strongly. And I'm not missing the point. I get that the games suck and he's trying to make his rants amusing, but that's the thing. I'm not amused at his attempts at humor, especially with the long sentences of curse words.

Our tastes in video game reviews are different. Get over it.

But you ARE missing the point and you just proved it again. His swearing has NOTHING to do with trying to be funny - it's part of his CHARACTER. And AVGN isn't stating his opinion, he's pointing out everything that sucks in the games - stuff that you can't argue with - it's not just a matter of opinion.

All Yahtzee does is review games while talking super fast and inserting "witty" one-liners here and there.

I'm saying that I don't like his brand of humor and I dislike his constant swearing. Haha, yeah, this fucking game fucking sucks and I'm fucking saying it like it's fucking going out of fucking style. I don't care how funny he can be, if it's filled with swearing then I can't properly appreciate whatever the heck he's trying to convey. This is all a matter of personal taste. Stop trying to tell me otherwise.

You think Yahtzee is a bunch of one-liners, but I think he's genuinely funny. Big deal. Do you want a I'M SPECIAL AND PART OF A MINORITY award or something? Because I don't appreciate you trying to force your opinions on me.

I'm not trying to force my opinion on anyone. I'm just saying that people are missing out on funny reviews cause they can't see past the swearing. And last time I checked, Yahtzee's reviews weren't swearing free.

And the AVGN is actually more popular than Zero Punctuation, just not on LJ it seems, so you can keep your award, thank you.

Fair enough, but you're still putting down Yahtzee. They're both good reviewers in their own right, but I personally prefer Yahtzee. Occasional swearing is fine; I have a pretty dirty mouth myself. But Angry Video Game Nerd swears a bit too much in the same sentence for me. Also, he tends to drag out his reviews, so if he cuts down his reviews into maybe 7 or 8 minute long videos, they might be more appealing to others.

I think instead of debating who's the better/funnier reviewer, we should debate about which one of Stupid Sexy Snake's asscheeks is better.

I like the left cheek better myself, it has more shadow that highlights his fine crack.

Also, I apologize for sounding very bitchy right now. You caught me at my most stressful (finals next week, papers due, etc), so I'm rather irritated at the entire world right now. No excuse for my behavior though.
