(Anonymous) 2008-05-03 04:59 am (UTC)(link)My point of view is that you had an opinion and chose to express it in a way that riled people up in a place where people would easily get riled up. You continued to poke at the hornet's nest by your own choosing. Sure, it sucks that you got stung, but you are not entirely free of blame for the way you chose to express yourself. The internet is a very tricky medium, and you need a crap load of tact to state a potentially inflammatory opinion in a way that doesn't offend anyone... and you don't seem to have that tact.
