SAMMMEE. That's why I get really irritated when people start fighting against "haters" and want to take any critical eye out of fandom, because I honestly really enjoy seeing people hate something as much as I do and it makes me feel less alone as well.

Not everyone is going to agree all the time or be positive all the time and that's okay, if we can be civil about it then it shouldn't bother anyone.

I'm not in any fandoms at the moment, but whenever something goes down on Tumblr and the fandoms are out of their minds with fury, I read through pages and pages of the complaints.

That's what I want until I have it. Then it's like "no stop people you're going way overboard. i wanted someone to vent with, not start a war."

Same. That's why I search out the like-minded frustrations and lurk silently instead of trying for conversation.

God, same. The fandom that I'm in now seems to worship one of the characters to the point where if you disagree with them at all, the clique of protectors of that character will come at you and try to drill it in your head as to why you should love that character with all of your heart and soul. Which only ends up backfiring, because it makes me start to loathe that character because of the rabid stans. So when I see other people annoyed with the same shit I am, it makes me very happy. (And those are the ones I tend to reach out to in the fandom.)
