...I don't know.

Do I have access to the Phantom Zone, like Superman, where I can punish my criminals without them escaping? Then yes. Is the system corrupt, and constantly letting criminals go free/refusing to give them the death penalty, despite their many obvious crimes, like in Gotham? I'd be pretty damn tempted to not honor that, but then would I be a superhero, or would I just be a vigilante?
