Is that those u shaped squeezy things I've seen in the make-up aisle? I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to put that close to my precious eyeballs.

Those are the ones.

They're only scary if you're not really paying attention to what you're doing. They're even scarier when someone else is doing it for you (s/o to all of the makeup artists who let me do it myself<3)

Is it bad that I trust my friend to do it more than I trust myself? But then again, I rarely wear makeup and I usually just let someone else put it on.

lol I'm not a clueless dude in media and I thought it was a torture device too XD

Though I can't really use them anyway, 'cause my eyes are really deep sunk. They just hit my brow bone.

as far as i know:

you get terrifying clampy things
then you put cakey stuff on your eyelashes
then you bring the clampy things like half an inch from your eyeballs then clamp the eyelashes with the clampy things and pray you dont pinch your eyelid????

Curling first!

Curling after applying mascara can clump it altogether. Also, you don't pray you don't pinch your eyelid lol you watch what you're doing and you do it carefully. It's completely avoidable and in your own control
