There's a point where someone says the player character is 11, it threw me rather briefly out of the whole thing.

I really wish they'd go back to the ages of the PCs and their rivals from gen 5...they were like, 15 or so.

None of them looked 11. They were either slightly mentally immature 13 year olds or rather physically mature 11 year olds
