Fucking THIS.

Apparently there are a whole lot of people in the world who think that strong = Mr. Universe. There are two kinds of muscle building. 1. The Mr. Universe type which is concerned with how the muscles LOOK and 2. The Strongest Man in the World type which is concerned with what the muscles can DO.

The oiled up guys you see in bodybuilding competitions look good (if that's your thing), but when it comes to actually being able to use that muscle? Maui is where it's at.

Uhh...I know a few guys who compete in bodybuilding (including one who was a Mr. Universe contestant), and you are sadly mistaken if you think those guys aren't strong. Yep, the contest is about aesthetics, but they lift heavy and are far from just ~pretty muscles~.

I didn't say they weren't strong. I'm sure they can outlift a great number of people because they have muscles and muscles do that. I said that given a competition between type 1 (bodybuilding) and type 2 (Maui), type 2 is winning every time.

Then perhaps bodybuilding competitions should have a practical test of that muscle instead of having the contestants just strut around and flex 'em.

That... Mmm... Yes. They need to be TESTED. Heavily. (And they still have to wear thongs.)
