Perks of living alone

(Anonymous) 2017-01-10 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
I am making myself a German Chocolate Cake because it's Monday and I'm going to eat it straight from the pan. because who the fuck needs plates when you live alone. the only one here to judge me is by dying bonsai tree.

best roommate = no roommate

JEALOUS. I have not been able to afford living alone for years and oh how I miss it. Eat the hell out of that cake for me!

Go you! I love living alone to the point that if I had to move in with someone else it would be a literal nightmare for me.

ayrt

At this point, even moving in with a serious romantic partner is a huge turnoff. lol

I also live in a studio and I think I am too paranoid to live in a bigger place all alone (I'm the type to convince myself someone is hiding in the closet and freak out when I'm in a house or larger apartment alone). Tiny manageable studio = total freedom though

I liked having roommates for a long time, but I'm about done with it at this point. I wish I could afford to live alone.

I would rather downsize than take on a roommate, unless that roommate were also a romantic partner. I might make an exception for very close family or friends if it was a temporary thing or one of us needed help due to a medical issue.

I'm looking forward to having no one to judge me when I live alone, but even though I'm a solitary person by nature I'm afraid the isolation will get to me, which I hope not because social interaction is too stressful.

I like being able to just walk around naked if I want to. Oh spilled something on my shirt? Just take it off and throw it in the wash, no big deal!

And yes eating from the pan is great.

And not having to worry about someone else using your food? Priceless.
