How do you get over a crush on someone who may as well be fictional because they live on the other side of the country, you've never personally interacted with them, and they likely wouldn't even take a second glance at you if you did ever meet?

I'm crushing on a well-known but less popular (less than 1 million subs) Youtuber and god it hurts. I can't talk to anyone I know about it because they'd think I'm joking, but this person is funny, talented, attractive, knowledgeable... I don't even know why, how, or when I started feeling all twitterpated, but I know it's never going to happen and I'm trying to remind myself of that.

I guess it helps to get to a state of mind that crushes in the long run aren't all that important. They're fun, and there's nothing wrong with having crushes, but don't let them get in the way of life.
