I think it's good to have a "no" list. A limited one, perhaps, and one that is open to changing - it should serve society, not dictate it.
But just like we have hate speech laws limiting free speech, I think there is nothing wrong with certain other limitations.
Just because somebody makes something and calls it 'art' doesn't give it inherent intrinsic value or any lasting meaning.

I really would not equate censorship in art to hate speech laws. Yikes. Like at all. They are apples and oranges.

Does it matter if art has any intrinsic value? Who are we to decide that someone can't enjoy something the way they want because we don't think it has value?
