My favorite thing about infomercials was, and is, how hilariously incompetent the people in them are until they get their hands on the magical wonderful thing being advertised. I remember one for some kind of special stacking tupperware stuff that opened with a woman opening a cupboard and having approximately 700 tupperware pieces fall on her, because apparently she was too stupid to put them away neatly.

LMAO, I love those moments, too..

It's not an incompetence thing, but I also remember seeing an ad for a knife you could get that would allow you "to slice food in mid-air". 'Cause...who doesn't normally cut their food like that, right?
