I watched a news piece (like 20/20 or Dateline but I can't recall which one) on the man who locked his daughter and some of the children they had in his secret basement. So creepy and fucked up. The last I can remember is the kids who had been locked up writing letters of gratitude to the police and doctors and being excited to finally breathe fresh air and seeing rain fall and snow fall. I also think about it sometimes, wondering how they all are.
