Kylo Ren's father is dead, but he isn't gone. And dying hasn't made him any less determined to bring his son home. The question is, will Kylo Ren allow it?
That's my first rec for something Kylo centric without having pairings be the main point.

Without actually meaning to he ends up following in his father’s footsteps, becoming a grumpy, hobo space smuggler. In between running from both the First Order and the Resistance, he works hard to become the biggest pain in the ass to that slimy sycophant General Hux. Along the way he surprisingly enough gains some allies, and, though he'll only grudgingly admit it, a friend. (Not Rey) In the middle of all of this he has to wrestle with the repercussions of having a force bond with a girl who’d like nothing more than to flush him out the nearest airlock. (Definitely Rey.)
Also, grandpa Anakin Skywalker’s Force ghost tags along for the ride.

Ben Solo is brilliant and handsome. He is also insufferably arrogant, a flagrant womanizer, and a total ass. On certain days, they get along as well as oil and water. On others, it's more like ammonium nitrate and TNT.
Which is why the prospect of spending the next 48-hours cooped up in a car--on a road trip with the man--has left Rey feeling a bit out of sorts....
