(Anonymous) 2017-01-14 02:36 pm (UTC)(link)If you enjoyed the movie, which I did, try reading the book. Fair warning: you'll probably hate the book, which I did, and find reading it one extended cringefest that never stops getting worse. But they're completely different characters in each version.
It's interesting to see what Hollywood extracted from the original text that isn't there, and what is originally there that got cut out i.e. everything that makes Bateman a socially awkward tryhard.
