I don't. If I'm into a show I stay with it to the very end. Some of that is due to the fact that there's some shows I get into when they're already halfway through/late into their run, so I figure I might as well ride out the remainder of the series.

But for the most part, whether I'm with a show from the very beginning or not, I keep watching mainly because there's usually something that'll hold my interest even through the weaker seasons/episodes, and I just want to see how it all ends.
