Sorry! I wrote and deleted so many times I didn't realize I had left out that part. I've been working in childcare. Private nanny for years, then a teacher at a daycare/preschool, now administration (Director) of a daycare/preschool.

Do you have relevant degrees or certs?

I wonder if there are LGBT-parent friendly childcare organizations out there. There's got to be a bunch in SF, lol.

The problem is I have years of experience but no degrees. I have trainings and certifications that will help, but anywhere (like SF, I looked) that has LGBT friendly or awesome schools I'd want to work at are small and have a large ocean of highly degreed people to choose from.

I've actually thought of opening up my own organization for kids, and marketing it as LGBT youth friendly, but I don't really know the first thing about running a business.
