Yeah, I've liked him in pretty much everything I've seen him in.

I think it's just because there's a very vocal group of people that love to shit on the prequels in general and are pissed off that proto-Darth Vader wasn't as epic-ly badass as they'd always dreamed he'd be. Sorry kids.
