I read the Harry Potter books and watched the movies and liked them fine, but I guess I didn't like them enough to pay very close attention because there's a lot that comes up (at least, in fannish circles) that just goes over my head. I remember a lot of things that happened, but not which book/movie they happened in. I don't remember most of the supporting characters' names.
