I write a lot of smut, and all of my fic is either a) written after getting off to the idea I'll write, or b) written while getting off.

If my fic doesn't make me come, it's time to rewrite.

This works for me when I'm thinking up the ideas. When I'm actually writing it has to be hands off myself until I'm done writing or I'll lose motivation!
