Calm music

I need something nice and beat*-free to listen to while others are sleeping.

*I don't know what the english word for it is - that low thumping sound that goes through the walls.

do you like jazz? instrumental jazz standards are very light, calm music I like to use when I'm looking for something quiet and non-intrusive to play.

that low thumping sound that goes through the walls.

that's just really loud bass. I hate it too, at least when it's loud enough to go through walls. I can't stand people playing music in their car with the bass amped up so I can hear it in my car with both our windows closed. It gives me a headache in a very short period of time.

Uh, I like a lot of music. Do you like vocals or instrumentals? Are you looking for stuff that actively calms you or just any good music that doesn't have loud bass?

You could always try ASMR videos or "massage room" music that's just lutes and flutes and wind and ocean sounds.
