I'm not gonna get all judgy and I don't know your mom's situation, or yours. but it sucks that she's in that relationship, is all. it might not be economically viable for her to leave (I have no idea) but it is obviously not a healthy relationship and it super sucks that it sounds like you're caught up in it. :(

Hey, I know this thread is a few months old, but I just wanted to let you know, me and my mother finally got out of there.

We're not totally out of the woods yet, a lot of our stuff is still at his house and we're living with my grandparents right now and looking for a house/apartment, but still.

We got out, and I'm so glad.

My mother has gotten a new boyfriend, and the three of us are living in a rented house together

Still have some of our stuff (Mostly mine) over there, but I'm happy
