Why?

I read and loved Bloodsucking Fiends.

He fucked with my heart on the sequels, but the first one was awesome.

I don't know. I tend to find his writing unfunny and vaguely unpleasant. Like, he doesn't seem like an author I'd want to sit down with for some tea and a chat.
(I would really like to sit down with Yoshimoto Banana, though)

He wore one of my favourite books but it's the only book of his that I like. I don't love or hate him. But I'm not enjoying Practical Demonkeeping and I'm not sure I'll finish as I set aside a series I love to read it.
