Re: What is your ideal vacation (destination, length, things to do)?

Ideal vacation: flying to a location with interesting ethological features, renting a vehicle or getting a train ticket, heading around to check out the local nature (hiking, diving, etc). Nothing planned. Eat at places that look good, avoid places that look like they have a lot of tourists. Completely avoid large cities (small towns are okay).

Ideal weekend: SO, bottle of wine, horror movie or local co-op video game, home made pizza.

Your ideal weekend sounds fantastic. I am doing the cheap version of that this weekend with vodka and Overwatch. But I will have the homemade pizza!
