Re: What is your ideal vacation (destination, length, things to do)?

Ideal weekend: Sleeping in, reading, walking my dog, and trying a new recipe.

Ideal vacation: Visiting museums and royal residences in different countries, getting around by bus or train, shopping, and trying all kinds of different foods. Length would be maybe two to three months.

Museums are the number one thing I love about visiting other places. Also, public transportation because it is such a novelty (to me).

Though, I think 2-3 months would be too long for me financially. If I had a bunch of money, it'd be great.

Oh yeah, two weeks would be way more financially realistic for me and I'd have to cut a lot of corners for that to happen, but two to three months would be a dream come true.

I find public transportation weirdly relaxing, even with the weirdos running around. My hatred of driving might have something to do with it, but I also enjoy staring out the window and watching the scenery pass by.
