Re: What is your ideal vacation (destination, length, things to do)?

My ideal vacation is 10 days. After about 10 days, I usually have a strong desire to be back home, but that's because I usually am constantly on the move when I go away. (Last Europe trip was Paris, London Dublin for 10 days, the time before was Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Denmark for 10 days)

I love exploring cities. The only city I've really disliked so far is Dublin but that's because the Irish countryside was so overwhelmingly better than the city.

My ideal weekend is a mix of being busy with friends and relaxing, so busy Saturday and lazy Sunday.

Ten days is my ideal amount of time as well! At least for the one vacation I had. :P

And I love cities because I've never been into hiking/camping and things like that.

I'm not a fan of hiking or camping either. I like real showers and I don't like the thought of creepy crawlies. I also have a fairly short attention span and I like to cram as much as possible when I travel far away. I'm not a fan of beach trips.

I did one "vacation" that was a month but I was studying abroad in Japan during a summer, so that was different because I had an established hotel every night and had a routine of school in the morning and freedom in the afternoon.

I think I could probably stretch a vacation to 2 weeks, but any more than that and I would just miss the general comforts of home.
