I think the only thing I've ever actually *seen* him in is Dr. Strange.

I've seen enough MCU for the Hiddles thing to throw me though, and even moreso, Tennant just always looks like Ten to me...(plus he was already in an HP movie!)

It's not really about me being used to him in a certain role, just that the role is so unlike the one they're saying he should play here and I don't buy that he could pull it off.
