01) Ya know, I thought about that when I was a major GW fan! But I honestly think I'd be one of those random soldiers that die in the background while someone like you saves the world/universe XD;;

Forks is pretty, but that's about it. There's not much to do there unless you go in the summer since it's pretty much a tourist spot.

Has it always been a tourist spot? Or did it become a tourist spot because of the book?

It was a tourist spot way before the books came out. Forks is the only fairly large town near the Olympic National Park, so if you wanted to stop somewhere that had decent hotels and other things, you'd stop at Forks. Especially if you were going to the coastal part of the National Park.
