noted.

Good for you, glad you liked it.

(Anonymous) 2017-01-24 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
So did I, despite it's many plot holes.

(Anonymous) 2017-01-24 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
ok.

(Anonymous) 2017-01-24 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
Same. Nice nod to the Game/long-playing Holmes fans and Sabine Baring-Gould, and if there isn't a fifth season then the end montage was a lovely update to the "where it is always 1895" poem.

It wasn't my favorite and there was a part that struck me as really stupid and lazy, but I did like the finale. The last few minutes made me smile.

I liked it in terms of if it's a series finale, the conclusion of them just continuing on solving mysteries is a nice one.

But as far as everything else? Nah. It was way too over the top and didn't even feel like they were anywhere near the genre the show began at. The acting performances were fine but the writing killed any belief I had.

I haven't watched it yet but I'm thorougly enjoying all the Lestrade and Microft gifs as well as spoilers re the family moments.

please act like you didn't notice the typo, this's terrible

Is this unpopular? I mean, outside TJLC weirdos who would have been disappointed with anything less than Sherlock/John screwing on screen? The rest of the reactions I've seen have been "yeah, good conclusion to this weird season" or "Sherlock and John are RAISING A BABY TOGETHER, SO EXCITING."

(Anonymous) 2017-01-24 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
This episode acctually seems to be the point where people outside the fandom bubble started to notice that Sherlock is basically just one giant over-the-top mess now (even more so than at the beginning). So it's not only the shippers (but the shippers are very vocal).

I loved it too. Was surprised that it was not popular.
litalex: Jefferson from John Adams, lounging around (LOL!Jefferson)

Me, too, but argh, plot holes.

I also loved it. Not sure how well it will hold up to a second viewing, but still thought it was good.
