I'm on my dinner break and there were about 40 seconds where I was actually really considering getting up and figuring out how best go tAke a walk without looking like I'm walking in circles for about 10 minutes.

But then the post arrived.

Oh well, I biked for 30 minutes this morning.

I went out early and did my usual route but at the end I just wasn't tired.

So I went to the track and walked a mile, waiting for other people to leave.

and then they left and I walked another mile and sang at the top of my voice.

Then I saw I was almost to 10k steps and just kept going until I hit it.

Awesome! (Sounds like you did plenty anyway, and you might already know this but in case you don't just fyi: if you can sing, you're not really benefiting your heart or lungs, if that's a goal. Still great for calorie burn in though.)

Yeah it doesn't feel the best but it's just fun to not silently walk around all the time.

OP
I went back to work, parked back in the lot and went in a little-used door that put put at the opposite end of my dept. Only got about 5 minutes, but better than the 1 it usually takes.

I've been pretty good about hitting my gym the past few weeks. My apartment actually has a small (tiny, smelly, old-equipment) gym right in it, so it's hard to make excuses not to go. It's kind of nice to be able to go run two or three miles on the treadmill, lift some weights, and go back home without ever having to leave the building.

I did slow flow yoga for the first time and stretched places I didn't know could stretch. The short of it is, it feels like when I broke my ribs. All those muscles that attach to my ribs are SCREAMING.

Found the cutest thing involving yoga. No word if I'll ever do it.

I like to run small errands when I take walks, it helps with the motivation if I plan to go buy my cat treats or something (this may not work if you're out in the country, but it can in many suburbs and definitely works in cities.)

I walked around this morning, probably should work out but meh.

I've started cutting my lunch hour in half so I can go walk when it's nice outside. And I try not to use inter-office mail: I prefer to deliver it/pick it up in person because it's a good excuse to get up and moving at what is very much a desk job.

My gym started offering different types of group workouts this year and they've been awesome. It's a great and encouraging environment and I'm happy I decided to try it out.
