Well, it's Dan and Phil.

They're hard to resist.

So far I haven't read RPF of them. I've avoided that. (But I can't stand on a high horse either because I've read AND written RPF when I thought I never would for another fandom...)

Basically I can understand where you're coming from. No judgment here! :)

The whole thing just makes me feel uber-creepy. RPF usually weirds me out. No judgement for anyone who enjoys it, but not my thing, you know? And I'm like 15+ years older than most of their fanbase. (I mean, I know the boys are older, but still. I'm actually older than both of them.)

And then these two catch my attention and I'm just UGH! They need to stop being so freaking adorable. I have things to do, dammit!

Yeah I know what you mean. RPF...it's on the edge. :o I console myself with the fact that my RPF fandom is pretty damn closeted and not out in the open with fic.

But D&P? They've admitted to reading it, so...that's gotta feel weird. IMO if they have the high enough embarrassment threshold to deal with it, and don't condemn their fans for writing it, you don't have to feel guilty.

IDK. Best of luck in the D&P black hole. I'm not sure if anyone ever truly escapes (or wants to).

I enjoy both RPF and youtubers and I really don't get it?? But whatever floats your boat!

I'm sympathetic about the age thing. Youtube audiences are on the young side so most things I get into I'm going to be older than the fanbase. It gets old... Ha... Old.

Thankfully the RPF fandoms I've gotten into a bit more mature, which
helps with respecting boundaries and differentiating between fact and fiction. Not something teenagers are known for!

I'm still not 100% sure who they are but for a long time I assumed these two were a couple just from seeing them around the internet. Maybe that can make you feel better about shipping them. It's like they got that thing going on where gay couples start to look alike after a while.

They're probably a couple but they prefer to keep their private life private as much as they can so they won't discuss this anymore. TBH they've been harassed in the past. But they live together...there are tweets etc they haven't been able to erase from the past... It's got to be embarrassing to have everything discussing their relationship and what it is; I think for the most part they handle it with grace and just try to focus on other things (i.e. entertaining their audience).
