Ella Enchanted

Okay, this is pretty silly since it's a pretty young and simple book and I am way beyond the target audience age, but I just get such simple joy out of the whole dang thing. And the ending is perfect. I re-read it every couple of years when the urge hits me.

This book is fantastic. I've read it so much since I got it in elementary school that the cover fell off.

I love that book.

I will never forgive that atrocious movie that had nothing to do with the book!

I could have forgiven the movie if I liked the choices it made but it pissed me off that it took her horrifying curse that the book made sure to make you understand was horrifying from the start and played it for laughs too many times.
