Frustrating.

I feel guilty for even saying this, but, like. Trump has been in office 5 days, during which it feels like 100% of my timeline on social media has been nothing but Trump opposition. And that's important and I agree with it and I'm not asking anyone to stop. But at the same time there's going to be four years of this and I am actually going to go insane if that is the only thing that I'm supposed to care about every second of the next four years.

It'll die down. I've been posting a lot of that, and I'm feeling sick of it myself. It will and should always keep coming, but people will even out and start posting other things too. All of the most intelligent, well-informed people I know online and offline have said this is important to remember: it's not possible for political outrage and activism to be the only things you think about. You have to make time for the things that make you feel good, and on social media, keep posting the things you've always posted. The idea seems to have gotten through to most of my acquaintances and hopefully continues to spread.

Quiet. It's my birthday, but I celebrated it over the weekend.

Thanks. :) It is work BS and it does not seem to be a problem that will be changing soon.

It sucked because I did about ninety percent of the work while my coworkers sat around to talk smack about the women's march and praised Trump.

Bleh. Woke up with a splitting headache. I did end up baking some white chocolate/peppermint blondies, so that was cool. And they turned out well. But I broke down crying at one point tonight. I'm honestly so stressed and feel like I'm so behind. I feel like I can't do it all. I've decided I'm going to drop my Spanish classes for February. It is just too much for me to handle.

Productive, expensive. I went to the post office about setting up something just in case a package I am somewhat expecting soon arrives, though in the end I didn't really do anything there, besides advice. I got a haircut, debated buying X-Men movies (I didn't), did buy sausages and cheese, found the jeweler had cleaning solution, bought cotton that ended up not being needed, drank tea, ate ricepaper rolls and pizza, and did not feel all that bad for spending almost $200.
