I caught a bunch of the new shows. Gave up pretty quickly on Designated Survivor because it was depressingly realistic about some people would act. Gave up on Timeless because it quickly frustrated me how much the people running the time travel project in the show don't seem get time travel. Gave up on This Is Us because, Jesus, it's emotionally exhausting to me. Gave up on The Good Place because they had a really long hiatus and I lost interest. Just gave up on Bull - it's okay, but that's all it is, the premise doesn't thrill me and I didn't really connect with any of the characters. Also gave up on a couple of returning shows, Scorpion, which finally Tacoma Narrows'ed my suspension of disbelief, and Grey's Anatomy, since there's only so much character ungrowth I can stand.

The new shows I've kept are Lethal Weapon, Frequency, and MacGyver. Lethal Weapon has good chemistry between the leads and fun action. Frequency is fairly layered and I like the way the timeline changes happen. MacGyver is just a goofy-ass blend of Mythbusters (no, seriously, it reminds me more of that than the 80s series), banter, and over the top situations.
