General realm of acquaintances =/= RL friends I hang out with all the time. It's mostly people I know from my time on an anime fansite.

That's still a very bad pool to base your opinion of trans men off of. Most trans men are not yaoi fans.

I never said they were. I was talking about the specific people I know.
But I do think that, especially on tumblr, at least 70 percent or more of those who portray themselves as trans men are not actually trans men.

I've seen people on tumblr complaining about the amount of very feminine, often nonbinary/genderfluid/genderqueer trans guys.

Funny thing is, they really like to shit on yaoi/slash fans for fetishizing. I've never known any cis guys to care about that at all, like it's not something that seems to even be on the average cis guy's radar.
