Yeah, but how often does the stuff that happens in a Hollywood movie correspond exactly with reality? Don't you think it's funny how (if your theory is correct) the people who make movies are only interested in accurately portraying that one small detail about human relationships?

As you might guess, I don't think your theory is correct. I agree that in real life, you see a lot more older men with younger women. But the thing about movies and TV is that they regularly show quite a lot of things that don't happen in real life, so your idea that people are only being realistic seems unlikely to me.
