Re: Actual serious question: With trigger warnings for potential racism,so you know it's serious.

That's my problem with it too. The only thing that makes it better or worse it when we are decide to applying motives to people, which is always a fucking mistake, to make it so it's not so bad / much worse when they think something. "They have a better reason for feeling GENOCIDAL, because I think they must have a better reason" is... it seems like bullshit to me.

And of course the problem is that you tell people "It's more ok for you to want this, because you could have a better reason for it" means that even if they don't have a good reason, even if they just want to attack people different to them for spite or tribalism or whatever (and don't tell me Poc's are never like that, because they are people, and if white people can feel other races are inferior, so can any other people. People are people everywhere remember, and that means they can be racist cunts just like everyone else.) even if they want to end everything that's not like them, they can hide it behind this "Good reason" people will ascribe to them.

I genuinely think - not just in this instance, but in general - you really do have to look at the reason and the context and the circumstances for almost anything. Of course motives matter. So I really disagree with you here.
