DA -- bit late to the party, but -- as someone who enjoys the comic, I can see where you're coming from that it could have more substance. IMO, at times, things got a bit boring or overly romanticized (idk what else to call it), but right after something interesting enough would happen that it would retain my attention.

To me it seems like it takes some BL tropes and twists them into something pretty scary. Idk about calling it a psychological thriller. On the one hand, it does put emphasis on the psychology of the MC, his conflict, and the mind games the killer puts him through. On the other hand, there's not anything particularly well-written or plotty about it. I mean, take the concept ("creepy stalker in love breaks into his target's house, finds out he's a serial killer") and there's a ton more potential for it than overfocusing in this weird d/s relationship.

I think for me it's "fucked-up dynamic porn", if that makes any sense. There's an appeal to that, haha
