Just butting in here but...you're not correct about the definition of "Trashy Yaoi". That's not even a thing. There's no such thing as Yaoi Manga. There's BL manga, and that's probably what you mean, but BL manga can be rated G to rated X, and it's all BL. Shonen Ai and Yaoi are terms adopted by western fujos who didn't know what they were doing. It's not actually A Thing in Japan, since yaoi exclusively refers to non-canon content (so, yaoi doujinshi, but not yaoi manga).

Pedantic, but since you're trying to use the 'objectively wrong' stance, I thought you'd want to be 'objectively right' first.
