Actually Avatar is the first fandom I've ever been in and will probably be the last.

All these secrets are making me really want to see the show. D: I'm not interested in ships but the art is so cute and the screenshots all imply interesting plot!

It's one of the smartest written shows I've seen in a long, long time. Funny humor mixed with serious themes, incredible attention to detail, and character arcs -- real serious believable character arcs. The kids actually react to their experiences and change because of them.

Watch it!

Actually, as long as you don't ship Katara (with anyone), there's virtually no wankiness! Who knows why Katara turned out to be such a wank magnet. It's one of those go-figure things.

That sounds excellent, I love character development (however silly that sounds XD).

I will watch it! And I probably won't ship Katara or anyone else, because that is not my wont!
(Because she's pretty?)
