I like how your comment is calmer than fucking "OH GOD YOU ARE SO HORRIBLE"'s up there. I...dunno. I will say that I like Adiane, but I think you're talking about ~like~ in that "I admire this anime character" way, and...that just ain't how I do it anymore.

I do TRY to be sane in my arguments. I don't always succeed, but I do my best. One of the reasons why the secret says "I have a hard time not yelling at her fans". I have yet to actually do it. ;p

And I definitely mean admire. Finding someone physically attractive has nothing to do with admiring them, liking their personalities or respecting them.

But I feel people that admire her personality are a little messed up in their priorities. In the real world it tends to be everything about a person that someone admires or not. So I'm not entirely sure how someone could break her personality into bits just because she's fictional. Sure, she wasn't a simply something to hold a pair of boobs up like many female anime characters (although she's certainly got a decent pair). But in the end it's a priorities thing. I personally think "beating a subordinate who she knew wouldn't fight back" to far outweigh "being a strong female". I suppose some people could and do disagree.

So, yes. It's the admiring and the respecting that confounds me and raises my hackles. Not finding her hot, or liking stuff in which she takes advantage of Viral's nature.
