lol I bought two doujinshi solely because I thought there'd be L/Matt, but it was verrryy subtle and only really there if you squinted a bit.
I ship L with all the Wammy's kids, actually =w=' Not AS much with Near, but still. omg the night I found fic...I came, srsly.

Mm I agree, L with Matt or Mello I like, not so much Near,s oemthing about that doesn't quite work for me (well, moreso than any L/Successor pairing doesn't work!). Its a shame there isn't more of it, I had to commission the art in my default.

I dunno, I think it's because Near generally doesn't seem very...shippable? I just can't see him interacting with L as anything but a little kid xD; They're so...father-and-son-like for some reason x-x Ohh, that was you?? I saw that pic on DA and faved it immediately :D! I've planned on drawing L/Matt mostly as thanks to necromunchy for the skins, but I haven't been in the mood for drawing recently >_< If I ever do, I'll be sure to post it in dnmatt!

Near's probably one of the least shippable realistically on an IC level, even L is more shippable than he is in my opinion. Hahah, yes that was me, the artist Panatenshi is the person who plays L with my girl!Matt :3

Yeah, even though he canonly dislikes being alone, he's just not the relationship type to me; he's more the "kid who wants lots of friends now to make up for his loneliness in early childhood" type in my opinion xD; Wah, that's really awesome *-* And I'm actually going a girl!Matt cosplay at an upcoming con, with a girl!Mello :P Genderbending is fun~♥

Er, I hope this isn't too awkward, but I've seen you around for a while, you agreed with a Matt secret I posted here a while ago, and you like girl!Matt AND L/Matt [omg], so um, could I add you by any chance? ^^; If not that's cool, it's still nice knowing there are more L/Matt fans out there x3

lol, yeah, I just hope people will be able to tell who I am ^^; My Mello and I both created more feminine versions of their outfits, but no worries, Matt *coughMatildacough* is still wearing jeans XP I just couldn't picture any incarnation of Matt being all too happy in a skirt. I'm also making the vest a bit differently, as the one worn by little-Matt from Ai Love-Love's doujinshi "Birthmark"; do you think it'd get the point across, as a girl!Matt expert? XD (I figured if I just had a normal Matt-vest, it'd be too hard to tell that I was female, so a half-vest would be perfect...)

Awww, I love the one in Birthmark, its so cute! My girl!Matt (her codename is Matia, but she still uses Matt XD) is a complete tomboy, she actually dresses pretty much exactly the same as OU does unless something happens to get her into something girlier. But I think it'd work just fiine~~

Eee, I know! this is NOT a thinly-veiled excuse to own that adorable piece of clothing, I SWEAR. (Matilda would never answer to that name, she still uses Matt/Matty too XD Damn, have our brains connected somewhere on some plane without either of us knowing or something?) Basically, the tiny differences I did are like, the shirt has the shoulders cut out like this (note: not me, lawl) (http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l229/PsychoVirgin/girlMattwearsahoopskirt.jpg) and the pants have these cut-out lines criss-crossed with denim going up and down the legs. They're hard to explain, but they work, I think.../hope. Boots, hair, belt, goggles, etc. are the same ^^ Also she is a Pokemon nerd, because I think it's funny xD
I'll be sure to post pictures when I have it totally done so I can be judged as worthy or not, rofl~♥
