I used to think that when I was a teenager. Then as I got older I started associating too-youthful looks with young and naive and most likely not on the same maturity level and it got less attractive to me.

Yeah, but there's a difference between no longer dating 18-year olds and being into people that could be your dad? I mean, I think my range has certainly grown broader as I got older myself, and some people who are adults definitely seem "too young", but that doesn't mean I'd be into 60-year-olds, either.

I'm not into 60 year olds, but I can see why other people would be. I can also see why people would be into 20 year olds. Some people are really into the mature gentleman thing and it's less about his physical body and more about the whole package.

People still find Helen Mirren sexy as hell and for good reason.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. But I also don't think it's weird to not be? And a few comments here are along the lines "omg you child, wait till you grow up", which is not necessarily the case.

I didn't say it was weird not to be, I related my personal experience...

Wrong thread?

Not, not you maybe, but there's a couple of people saying it in this tread, sorry if that was unclear!

Oh, yeah. I was more trying to explain to OP that the "features of advanced age" aren't what the people are attracted to. Sure, some people think those are hot by themselves, but for most it's more all the other things that those features indicate, like maturity or experience that makes the whole older person hot. Not everyone who is older is a silver fox, it takes a certain class and demeanor to achieve that.
