People on Tumblr begging for reblogs. I like everything you post because you are my friend. But I'd rather not reblog your art because mostly it is your OCs, the style isn't something I'm particularly fond of, and as much as I like you your art doesn't fit with my blog. So please stop begging for reblogs in every piece of art you repost.

I have a mutual on my dash like this, always throwing themselves a pity party because "woe is me why don't people reblog my work waah", for all the reasons you listed (they do primarily their OCs that I am not interested in at all). I mean they can draw, but so can literally thousands of other people, and it's just not that special to me to want to put it on my blog. What's especially irksome are those fucking "reblogs are great, likes are shit" posts, attempting to guilt people into reblogs. Fuck that, I unfollow them.

Agreed. That would make me less inclined to reblog, not more, because I wouldn't want to reward such irritating behavior. And honestly, if you have to BEG people to reblog your stuff, then that should tell you that you need to channel all that effort into improving your art instead.
