22: Let me guess, it was fandom's fault that Jo was written out, too? Even after Kripke said he wasn't happy with how her character was working out onscreen?

Ruby gets a lot of hate, too, you know. But Kripke tells the haters, tough, she's not going anywhere because he likes her. If he liked Bela enough, she would be staying, too.

Bela was terrible, she was an awful awful character, that killed the show for me everytime she showed up.

Kripke's said it was fan reaction that led to Bela being written out. He's kind of a spineless douche, actually.

Yeah, that's why he's keeping Ruby even though the entire fandom contunually bashes Katie Cassidy for not being able to act for shit. Because he's spineless.

Is it so hard to believe that he might actually agree with the reasons fans have for why Bela hasn't been working? He has his own opinions, too.

If he really pandered to the fangirls, Sam would have his powers back. Henriksen would have miraculously showed up again. Sam and Sarah would have had at least one more episode together. There would be plans for a body-swap episode. There are tons of things the fans very loudly ask for, but if he doesn't want it to happen, it doesn't happen.

You know Dawn Ostroff made Bela recurring in the first place, not Kripke, right? Ruby was the addition he had in mind. It's not surprising he wants Bela out, she was never in his original plans to begin with. She was supposed to be a one-episode character.

Well, Kripke never actually wanted to make her more than a 1 time character anyway.

Fan reaction and budget cuts apparantly.

I thought Kripke's plan was to just have her in that episode, and then show up again whenever the story called for it, then he decided to just use her to appease Demon O.

Spineless douche? Yeah, I agree on the douche part, but remember, he's keeping Ruby.

I agree. I read that Kripke didn't like how Bela ended up making the guys look like fools. Which she did. So I really I don't think it was COMPLETELY the fans doing it. Hell if it was up to the fans it would just be an hour of Sam and Dean doing each other. LOL
