Are you seriously taking 4chan (of all places) as a measure for majority behaviour?

Why not? It's a big place with hundreds of users. There's life outside your beloved Tumblr.

I think using only tumblr to measure majority views in general is equally dumb but in this case? 4chan has gotten smaller and smaller (and damn you show your age if you think 4chan is big. It's not, not anymore.) And quite honestly, the fandom population on tumblr, in this case, is probably at least three times as big.

Yes. Tumblr is probably bigger for this fandom, that doesn't change the fact that there ate hundreds of people on 4chan and that you're tying to dismiss all that people just because it doesn't suit your narrative.

100s of people on 4chan, only a few of those on /a/, only a few of those in the YoI fandom. But sure, thinking 4chan is totally representative for a majority opinion because this small number of people supports your narrative is so much better.
